Unr Gay’s learship the TU men's track and field program has seen 33 athlet qualify for the NAIA door and outdoor natnal champnships, breakg ne school rerds, and earng eight NAIA All-Amerin honors over the past two seasons.
Gay’s women's track and field program has been even more succsful, producg 41 NAIA door and outdoor natnal champnship appearanc, cludg 24 NAIA All-Amerins, one NAIA Natnal Champnship relay and breakg ne school rerds. As a team the women’s track and field program has fished the top 26 at each of the NAIA natnal champnships durg Gay’s tenure, cludg a 10th place fish at the 2022 NAIA door natnal champnships.
Gay to TU after two years as the head track and field ach at Dillard Universy and seven seasons as an assistant ach on staff at Indiana Wleyan Universy. Prr to startg his achg reer, Gay peted track and field at IWU. Durg his time at Dillard, Gay worked to rhape the program, doublg the roster size ls than two years and settg 23 new program rerds on the track.
