Gay's wrg is the polar oppose to McCarthy's sparse, mimalist prose. Instead, Gay pats a rich table full of pungent, melod scriptns.

William Gay lived my small unty TN and I never knew. Usg this technique Gay is a ltle hard to follow at first, but once you get half-way through the book you know each character as if they were your own fay or neighbor. I hope Gay gets the cred and notoriety he serv!
