Late May someone posted a one-star (terrible) review here at TripAdvisor, statg that although the rooms and beach were great, the rort was not gay iendly at all, and the poster and his partner had been ma to feel unwele, and were stared and poted at.

Readg this review we were somewhat apprehensive, but as there had been a few very posive reviews om other gay upl, we cid to go on wh our prev plans. I e-mailed Ivan Santos, the Chief Concierge at Secrets Maroma, to requt the Honeymoon Package, which we May someone posted a one-star (terrible) review here at TripAdvisor, statg that although the rooms and beach were great, the rort was not gay iendly at all, and the poster and his partner had been ma to feel unwele, and were stared and poted at. We wished there had been more gay upl, and we hope this review entic others to enjoy a wonrful vatn at the Secrets Maroma, and not be dissuad by accurate reviews. It was also nice to see that they are still very gay iendly and this time were were not the only same-genr uple there.

We are a gay uple lookg to stay Secrets maroma but wanted to know what the tolerance was like at the rort.

We did see three gay upl. How do people "advertise" they are gay? In all the tim I've been at SMB, I uldn't tell you if there was a gay uple there or not!

I've stayed at 2 different Iberostars and there are always gays there too. My iend and I [both gay women] are planng a trip the end of June. It would be great to meet other gay people down there.
