Utilizg a dataset prised of 1,691 participants, this exploratory study we sought to intify whether differenc workplace environment toward LGBT dividuals existed across four human service occupatns (mental health, medice, tn, and public and private ernment-related non-prof muny anizatns). We found that tn profsnals reported the hight cinc of verbal and physil harassment directed toward LGBT dividuals. Edutn profsnals also reported feelg least prepared to handle sexual orientatn and genr- related issu spe beg most likely to speak-up agast sexual orientatn and genr-inty bullyg. Medil profsnals reported receivg the least amount of trag on LGBT-related ntact. Differenc across race/ethnicy and genr regardg discrimatory LGBT attus and environment were also found. Our rults offer important implitns for rearchers and workplace equaly advot that seek to foster affirmg workplace environments for sexual and genr mori.
