Around 1,000 people gathered on June 29 the pal of North Macedonia, Skopje, for the first-ever gay pri para a Balkan untry that hop to fally make progrs toward EU membership. Among the crowd of LGBT (lbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenr) people there were also supporters om other Balkan untri. There was also a "unterpri" monstratn Skopje, wh several hundred attendg a church for prayers, followed by a prott for "tradnal fay valu." Police were prent on the streets but no cints were reported.

The first-ever Pri Para North Macedonia will be held Skopje on June 29, the untry’s Natnal Network Agast Homophobia and Transphobia, gatherg human rights NGOs, told a prs nference on Monday. “The gay para will be a form of prott for affirmatn, support and protectn of human rights of the LGBTQ people, ” said activist Anton Mihajlov.
