Gay Day the ParkFor many of , "g out of the closet" was anythg but a piic, but the 1970's thats exactly how the Memphis LGBTQ+ muny chose to e was celebrated back as early as 1976 wh "Gay Day", a piic Audubon Park that was vered by a lol publitn at the time, Gaiety Newspaper.
