Men who have sex wh men (MSM) have suboptimal uptake of human papillomavis (HPV) and mengocl vacc. This study exam barriers and facilators to HPV and mengocl vaccatn among MSM a large, racially/ethnilly diverse, and medilly unrserved U.S. regn. In 2020, we nducted five foc groups wh MSM livg the Inland Empire, California. Participants discsed (1) their knowledge about and attus toward HPV, mengocl disease, and related vacc; and (2) factors that would enurage or disurage vacce uptake. Data were systematilly analyzed to intify salient barriers and facilators to vaccatn. Participants (N = 25) had a median age of 29. Most were Hispanic (68%), self-intified as gay (84%), and had llege gre (64%). Key barriers to vaccatn clud: (1) limed awarens and knowledge about HPV and mengocl disease, (2) reliance on mastream healthre provirs for vacce rmatn, (3) stigma and reluctance to disclose sexual orientatn, (4) uncertaty about health surance verage and vacce sts, and (5) distance and time required to accs vacc. Key facilators to vaccatn were: (1) vacce nfince, (2) perceived severy of HPV and mengocl disease, (3) bundlg vaccatn to route healthre, and (4) pharmaci as vaccatn s.
