Bt known as Ta Kennard on the lbian-themed drama "The L Word," actrs Lrel Holloman disvered her love of actg durg her hman year at the Universy of North Carola. She left school to pursue her passn profsnally, and bounced om Chigo's Piven Theatre Workshop to Los Angel, where she traed unr John Lynn, to New York, where she took to the stage. Her breakthrough me 1995, wh her starrg role pennt film "The Incredibly Te Adventure of Two Girls Love." She received cril acclaim for the film, which received much attentn the die and gay muni. She went on to appear a number of pennt films, among them the dramedy "The Myth of Fgerprts," the tragic drama "Boogie Nights," and the faial drama "Tumbleweeds." Holloman had ma her way onto televisn wh a few ma-for-TV movi and b parts on the drama "That's Life." In 2001, she earned the recurrg role on the popular "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" sp-off "Angel." She played Jte Cooper, the vengeful vampire hunter. Not long after her arc on "Angel" end, Holloman was st as the baby-wantg bisexual Ta Showtime's drama, "The L Word." The show worked Holloman's real life pregnancy to the show, and Ta also got pregnant. While the show was nsird sndalo wh s graphic pictns of Sapphic affectn, was also crilly praised. Holloman herself won a Goln Satelle Award for her work 2005. In 2010, Holloman starred the Hollywood dramedy "Gigantic."
