Strangers on the ter still thk ’s funny to make homophobic ’s this TV show that lets all kids, and specifilly queer kids, see that beg hont about their feelgs n make them a hero is as excg as is important. Still, Stevenson, herself a gay woman, wanted young viewers to be able to see a queer relatnship that wasn’t jt cintal, but central to the plot of the entire seri.

Upon first glance, the show is somethg most parents would be fortable wh their kids watchg as long as they uld handle the fantasy vlence, but s send season the TV-Y7 rated seri starts to really ph the gay agenda—whout actually tellg you is. As Decir put , "If She-Ra Season 1 featured characters who uld be read as queer, Season 2 is blissfully, almost unapologetilly gay.
By now, we’re (unfortunately) ed to most of the prime time adult shows havg the requise gay character and, more recently, even the gay child g out has bee popular on h shows, but seems like Hollywood isn’t ntent to stop there. Showg a non gay male uple that had a fay and were happy together was one of the first and most important moments of LGBT+ reprentatn the seri.
