Likewise, some transgenr people don't thk of non-bary folks as trans. It's obnoxly nfg."</p><p>Now, another thg to unrstand is that when to your genr, there are two parts: your genr inty (how you perceive yourself) and your genr exprsn (how you prent yourself to the outsi world).</p><p>"Genr exprsn n clu how a person drs, how they style their hair, their behavrs/mannerisms, and even their voice," Dr. Chapman explas.</p><p>Steph's genr exprsn is androgyno. "I'm a 6-foot-tall, 127-pound person," she explas. "I n easily pass as male and prefer to pass as male and drs as male, but don't outwardly show a bro-ish or aggrsive male persona."</p><div data-attr-viewport-monor="le-recirc" class="le-recirc-wrapper le-recirc-observer-target-2 viewport-monor-anchor"></div><p>"My genr exprsn is unique," says Jordan, "and I don't like to classify myself as simply 'mascule' or 'feme.' I tend to be most fortable mascule cloth, while some of the personaly tras I'm most proud of are that I'm passnate, thoughtful, and emotnally exprsive — tras that are often lked wh femy."</p><p>Andii says, "my genr exprsn is fely somethg unique — some days I prefer to drs more mascule, and other days I love to exprs myself as uber-feme. I am the same person eher way, and fortable as both!"</p><p>Another important thg to unrstand is that the language hasn't always been around, and we are still velopg termology (that's why thgs change the LGBTQ world so often), but the ncepts aren't new at all.</p><p>Non-bary genr "is a relatively new term," Dr. Chapman explas.
