The Court Bar on Hutchon Street (which shut 2015) would "turn gay" at 8pm om the mid 1980s onwards, wherpon is said that not only the staff changed, but an alternative and higher price list was fetched om unr the unter and affixed to the wall. And the 1970s and early 80s also saw the appearance of gay iendly diss the cy, such as the Great Wtern Hotel along Gt Wtern Road and Fire Island at Crs on Partick Bridge St. The gay scene Glasgow has changed so much - for better or worse - but The Waterloo is a stalwart that (apart om a b of a facelift here & there) is still there.
