The Gay Alliance of Brooklyn was one of the first gay civil rights anizatns tablished New York Cy outsi of Manhattan. The Hoe of David and Jonathan, reportedly the untry’s first gay synagogue, held servic here November and December 1970.
Followg Stonewall, several activist gay anizatns were tablished New York, notably the Gay Liberatn Front and Gay Activists Alliance, all Manhattan. Soon, groups other boroughs anized, cludg the Gay Alliance of Brooklyn (GAB), which was an offshoot of the GAA and active om 1971-1973. We are a new anizatn voted to achievg liberatn for all gay women and men.
