My first try of Ygay Gr Re Esp sce the 2001 vtage, this is somehow e the price of this liquid has creased nsirably, my last 2001 purchased around 30€, this vtage you will have to pay around 90€, pared wh Bourgogne, Barolo or the better Borx nothg to be upset about, is a qutn of hab I do gus......., the nose shows great hns, red juicy u, spice, herbs, plexy, ially wh a short nt aga this stunng h appearance, very good grip, young pronounced acidy, ep but "only" mid bodied, this is all about fse, a very meral rehg showg, clearly ma for the very long hl, long+ nvcg aftertaste, remend, **(**-*****), around 93- 95(+) potential24 hours later: all ponents are g better together today, a very strong acid still, but the u, lic and animatg today, aga fse, elegance, no way a sweet u blockbter, will bee a we bety about a +, so this is a vtage to be remend, still 95, 96 potential the future! This is very different than the also superb 2009 Castillo Ygay-ls supple, and more black u driven and stctured.

The Ygay fs this template perfectly; plums and slo, hts of blueberry and ssis, then figs, a and sobois, a distct balsamic note to unrle provenance.
