Prague Gay Pri is a relative newer on the Pri lendar; the first was held 2011.

Organized by Czech LGBTQ activists and long-term expats Prague, Gay Pri Prague has bee the Czech Republic’s largt LGBTQ event.

The hub of Gay Pri Prague is normally Pri Village, which transpir on Střelecký Island, as well as var other lotns across the cy. The Prague Pri ftival for lbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBT+) people will take place this year om 7 to 13 Augt at several lotns Prague.

A few weeks ago I took a last-mute weekend trip to Prague for their 4th annual gay pri, Prague Pri. I would argue that Prague has been a gay hotspot statn for a while already, but this was only their 4th annual pri celebratn.

Gay pri Prague was special not jt bee was a small (though not too small) celebratn, but also bee there was a muny feelg behd the pri. Wh polil anizers and volunteers om Central European LGBT rights anizatns takg the stage at several events, the pri felt as much about celebratg gay pri as did about makg posive societal change. Even Prague, wh s betiful backdrops, history of pornography and relative liberal attus, gay rights still have a ways to go.

Every gay club Prague was packed throughout the weekend wh special parti and events. I spent most of my nights at the cy’s most hipster gay club, Club Termix, which has long been one of my favore European gay clubs sce my first vis 2011.
