Gaylord Ho was born April 11, 1950, Hs-Wu, Taiwan. Born to poor farmers Gaylord spent most of his ee time helpg, along wh his brother, wh the chor of scratchg out a livg on a small rice farm middle Taiwan. Gaylord was sent off to the public school system as soon as he was of age.
After attendg the lol school system, Gaylord entered and graduated om the Natnal Taiwan Amy of Arts. His parents were tolerant of his artistic leangs; Gaylord says that his first foray to art was wh crayons on his mother's kchen wall.
