Give the place a go - they make clear on the door that is a maly gay bar, however they do wele regular ctomers.

It is so named bee, when was one of half-a-dozen gay bars the Wt End, was loted between Soho (where gay people drank the eveng) and the night club Heaven, where many people went when the pubs closed at 11pm, the tradnal (and prevly, legal) closg time for pubs.

As a gay man, I am not suggtg that gay bars should only be for gay men (after all, how uld you check), but is a b tratg to have to que only to fd hen nights and straight upl there.

LONDON’S BT GAY BAR - HALFWAY TO HEAVEN

It is a tribute to the staff (and clientele) that attracts so mixed a crowd and a ghetto mentaly is the last thg we need, but as a place where gay men n tly be themselv (not somethg which they n do even nowadays), is a b tratg when we have to que to get when other groups are already there. I still love gog there and will ntue to do so, but if ’s your first time gog there as a gay man, don’t assume you are guaranteed entry. Even though 's a gay bar, they were nice to and had some pretty awome talks wh people:)See some of the bt London queens on stage for ee ? Unfortunately some of the staff don't reflect the fun, welg meanor of the performers but always worth a vis regardls!

A great way to spend an eveng or a Sunday afternoon if you’re lookg to hang out one of the iendlit and funnit gay bars London ?️‍? ?Entertament downstairs every night, drag acts most nights except karaoke on Monday and is a gay bar... Decent pt of IPA of the few gay bars to serve Rekorrlig.

THE BT GAY BARS LONDON

As part of their Bank Holiday weekend monstratns, the right-wg English Defence League (EDL) arranged a meetg London’s HalfWay to Heaven gay bar. EDL lear Stephen Lennon has prevly said he oppos the buildg of Mosqu “bee they preach homophobia and anti-Semism which we should not tolerate this untry”.

As part of a seri of ralli and meetgs this weekend, London EDL sympathisers were ved to the HalfWay to Heaven bar near Soho – the webse of which advertis self as a gay bar “orientated towards the 9–5 male worker”. Asi om droppg to the gay bar, the EDL also found time to have tea at a Mosque York, after unter-monstrators their hundreds scend on the marchers wh cups and a sugar bowl.
