Men of lor (MoC) and Black male iative (BMI) mentorship programs create a plited experience for men who intify as gay, bisexual, and queer. The purpose of this phenomenology and arts-based rearch study unearths the experienc of Black gay, bisexual, and queer men (BGBQM) wh the programmatic ntexts. This study sought to explore the sence of genr inty, genr exprsn, and sexualy utilizg terviews, podst-style foc groups, and dividual art projects. Fdgs unearthed a plex realy, Blackns preferred, queerns ferred, to exist the tersectns of their myriad inti. Consequently, the men experience a Masc-g Phenomenon that lims how they exprs their genr and sexualy wh MoC and BMI programs.
