In 2022, NWA Pri celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Miss Gay Arkansas and Miss Gay Ameri pageants, heavily rooted Arkansas’ Queer history. Jon has touched the liv of thoands of LGBTQ+ Arkansans and untls others across the untry as Miss Gay Arkansas 1972, Miss Gay Ameri 1973, and as owner of one of the largt and longt-nng LGBTQ+ nightclubs Arkansas and the south. The first Pri Para rolled down Dickson Street 2004, but groups of lol cizens anized ralli, march, piics, and celebratns to une the LGBTQ muny and promote acceptance for years – all the way back to the 1975 Miss Gay Fayetteville Arkansas Ameri pageant hosted at Gee's Majtic Boyle, Joney Harper, and Norman Hadley found NWA Pri, Inc.
