Gay Cy State Park nsists of 1, 569 acr Hebron, Bolton, and Glastonbury and has loopg trails totalg almost 10 . The blue-blazed Gay Cy Trail provis accs to the longer blue-blazed Shenips Trail to the wt. Gay Cy State Park is named for John Gay, who was the first print of a muny found 1796 that clud 25 fai.
For years, Gay Cy prospered wh several ls powered by the Blackledge River. However, 1879, Gay Cy beme a ghost town when the last l burned to the ground. Cellar hol, stone walls, l s, a cemetery, and historic roads are evince of the settlers who labored to create a muny Gay Cy.
