Vcent says when he and other Black gay men would meet up, they realized suportg one another on an dividual level wouldn’t be enough. The founrs formed the group 2017, hostg events and programs that follow their missn of empowerg Black gay men and their alli, eventually beg a 501 (c) (3) nonprof anizatn 2020.

What surprised Vcent after creatg the group was that the begng, some members of the larger LGBTQ muny didn’t unrstand why there was a need to have an anizatn that is exclively n by Black gay men. Homosexualy, relign, Ain-Amerin culture and small-town mentali tersect this story of a high school stunt who ni his attractn to men.
