Sche and Gayed worked out the necsary math and modified the Goldberg g to be both planar and equilateral, th nvex equilateral Golrg polyhedra wh polyhedral symmetry! But so on the bright si, which really is the si we should be focg on, Sche and Gayed’s origal paper on the topic was easy to fd, an excellent read, and along wh was Stan Sche’s e-mail addrs. Jam Gayed and you seem to have disvered not jt a new sub-group of polyhedra, but an entirely new approach to fdg new forms that seems to have been overlooked by mathematicians until now.
