As a rult, I was able to make different choic that supported my health and allowed me to tell all those close to me, who accepted and supported me through those tough ’s impossible to separate the fears about AIDS of the general populatn om the prevailg homophobia of the age, the sheer celty and visibily of the disease meant that sex and sexualy were talked about far more publicly than would have been done otherwise.
