I'm DMg a mpaign soon and 3/5 of my players' PCs are LGBT+ (A Nonbary elf, a gay half orc, and a Lbian Halflg) and I don't know how different rac would teract wh them (the mpaign is centered around stoppg a war between The Elf/Dwarf/Gnome alliance and the Orc/Tieflg/Dragonborn aln.
I always assumed I was a small mory as a gay DnD player but no, after years of engagg wh the muny I've e to the ncln that there's a good chance most of the people who read this are LGBT+.
I've been wonrg what might be the reason for that overlap, I personally played DnD as a kid long before I knew I was gay so I'm cur what other people thk the reason might be.
