Rawls is a married man wh children and a closeted homosexual. In a scene which tak place a gay bar, Rawls is shown briefly the background. Was Rawls on "The Wire" gay?
On top of beg a terrible lear and allowg crime to fter, Rawls is also a racist, and though he equently spews homophobic slurs, is later revealed that he is actually gay. The fact that he is openly and proudly gay this environment only mak him a more likable character who is very easy to root for.
