On November 22, 1992, the ial planng meetg was held Dromm’s Flhg apartment, and the formatn of the Queens Lbian and Gay Pri Commtee (QLGPC) followed soon after at a meetg of Queens Gays and Lbians Uned (Q-GLU).
Co-chaired by Dromm and Cuban-born LGBT rights activist Marza Martez, QLGPC nvassed neighborhood gay bars for donatns and support. Dromm later relled that some bar owners were ristant, “It was a very quiet lbian and gay muny — a large one but not a very visible one.
