I'm not talkg about your face gay, but simply showg regnn that there are gay "gaymers" out there. I prent Valkyria Chronicl as a brilliant example of how to do this whout beg blatant, ntroversial or unfortable for heterosexual gamers who don't want "teh gay" rammed their fac. Now none of the ma characters are gay (at least that I've been able to make out) however there are a uple of openly gay/bi squad members.
Kudos to Sega for creatg a game that don't jt sile gay characters, but don't feel the need to sh on "OMZG We have a gay character! Heck, they have more than one character that lik the same genr, and while they do have one lipstick wearg queen type guy, not all the gay/lbian characters are so stereotyped.

Frankly, the fact that 's a game om Japan that might even allu to homosexualy a way which is not pletely meang is noteworthy. Still, like you said, the one guy (Jann) still pretty much fs the typil Japane portrayal of gay men, the "It's Ra' Men! ", "Hard Gay"-style guy who mak Jack om "Will and Grace" looks like John Wayne.
Avernum/Exile impli some NPC gay relatns (Though often one of the reasons they got sent to Exile). There's at least one gay/bi boy every clique, and some of them are so unstereotypil that you'd never spot them before they work up the urage to h on you. Fable 2 has a very siar classifitn, wh every npc of both sex rated as eher beg straight, bi or gay.
