Two years later The Gay Liberatn Front anised the first UK Gay Pri Rally, aga London, which attracted 700 – they were abed and harassed by the police but were termed to add an element of fun to a hugely polil event by endg wh a Gay Day Hy Park.
Fast forward another 20 years and Pri events had started beg anised Manchter, Brighton and Birmgham, and London the UK Pri March was tens of thoands strong and the Gay Day had grown to a massive ftival.
