Luckily for Gayle that neighbour was a former nurse - but she was shocked by the extent of the juri. Gayle's right arm and shoulr and had been ripped om her body, the left arm paralysed, her face slashed and a leg actured. It's left Gayle physilly pennt on her 24 year old hband for almost every need - om puttg on her make-up to beg fed meals - a bter blow for a young woman who excelled at physil tasks and was a top petive horse rir (mp draftg). "By the time they brought Gayle si, her right arm was missg, her left actured and was two hours before medil personnel uld get there. Robyn Newbury, a neighbourg former nurse, kept Gayle alive by lotg the ma blood vsels and pchg them off wh her she was told she had lost an arm, Gayle thought she uld still ri her had lived to ri and pete and uldn't image dog anythg else.
