Formerly, Gay was the director of the Montsori Graduate Teacher Edutn Program at UWRF as well as an stctor of child velopment, leracy and rearch urs. Before relotg to Wisns 2001, Gay was an adjunct profsor, a Montsori elementary teacher and admistrator Perth, Wtern Atralia.
In 2015, Gay was award the Celebrate Leracy Award by the Wisns State Readg Associatn and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Rearch, Scholarly or Creative Activy Award by the UWRF College of Edutn and Profsnal Studi.
