Our StoryOur story began 2003 when a group of Charlotteans saw the need for prrized fundg for LGBTQ+ non-prof anizatns and tablished Charlotte Lbian and Gay Fund. Havg the words “lbian” and “gay” the name was an trepid cisn at the time to highlight emphatilly those our muny supported by the missn of the the name historilly served as a bold statement, did not reflect the diversy of our muny and our missn of clivy.

In the 10 years the Fund has existed, has helped anizatns such as Time Out Youth, the LGBT Communy Center of Charlotte, Camp Pri, the Gay Men’s Chos of Charlotte and many other anizatns sta their programs and mount special projects that strengthen the LGBT muny and s nnectn to the muny at large.
