The four day event celebratg Manchter’s lbian, gay, bisexual and transgenr culture has been around for more than 25 years, and has been known by var nam cludg Pri, Mardi Gras and The Big Weekend.
It has tradnally taken place only Manchter’s gay village around Canal Street. But new for 2019, the event is beg spl to six different events – Manchter Pri Live at Mayfield pot, the Candlel Vigil, the Superbia Weekend, the Gay Village Party, Manchter Pri Para and Youth Pri MCR. Gayd Stage – Sunday 25th Augt.

The heart of Manchter Pri will be the Gay Village Party partnership wh Thomas Cook Airl. The four-day event, which will happen Manchter’s Gay Village, will brg live performanc, a food and makers market, fay focsed activi and more to the inic bbled streets and area surroundg them. On Saturday Augt 25th, Lulu will headle the Gay Village Party, as the culmatn of Danny Beard and iends day of entertament, wh tim TBC.
Tickets for the Gay Village Party, om £11 for day tickets and £16 for a weekend pass, are still available. Superbia is Manchter Pri’s year round lendar of cultural events, and The Superbia Weekend is a recent addn to The Manchter Pri Ftival to provi a ee to attend, dry alternative to The Gay Village Party. Manchter Pri Ftival offers a packed programme of events over the Augt Bank Holiday weekend, such as the Superbia Weekend, Youth Pri MCR, Fay Pri MCR, the Para, the Human Rights Fom and more, all of the are ee wh the exceptn of the Gay Village Party which is ticketed.

GAY PRI CALENDAR
The Gay Village will rema at the heart of the celebratns om Friday Augt 23 to Monday Augt 26, but the ma mic stag will be moved to a new home at Mayfield Depot. Skirtg the Gay Village, turns right on to Prcs Street and then left on to Whworth Street before fishg at Fairfield Street.
There's a futuristic theme this year as Pri reflects back on a watershed moment the gay liberatn movement and looks forward to a more equal future.
The cy will be rollg out the rabow rpet ready for the four-day LGBT+ celebratns, which take a different shape this year as the ma mic stag move to a new home outsi the Gay Village.
