Introductn Cha is amidst a sexual revolutn, wh changg sexual practic and behavrs. Sex–seekg mobile phone applitns (gay apps) that allow multiple people to meet up quickly may facilate group sex. This study was therefore unrtaken to evaluate group sex among Che MSM and to better unrstand factors associated wh group sex. Methods An onle survey was nducted om September-October 2014, llectg data on soc-mographics, sexual behavrs, e of gay apps and occurrence of group sex among Che MSM. Univariate and multivariable logistic regrsns were ed to pare group sex and non-group sex participants. Rults Of the 1,424 MSM, the majory were unr 30 years old (77.5%), unmarried (83.9%), and were gay apps ers (57.9%). Overall, 141 (9.9%) participants engaged group sex the last 12 months. Multivariate analys showed that men livg wh HIV, engaged ndomls anal terurse wh men, and ed gay apps were more likely to engage group sex, wh adjted ORs of 3.74 (95% CI 1.92–7.28), 2.88 (95% CI 2.00–4.16) and 1.46 (95% CI: 1.00–2.13), rpectively. Among gay app ers, the likelihood of group sex creas wh the number of sex partners and the number of sex acts wh partners met through a gay app. Conclns Che MSM who engage group sex are also more likely to engage other risky sexual behavrs, and gay app e may facilate group sex. Further rearch is need among MSM who engage group sex orr to target terventns and surveillance.
