* can you call yourself gay if you re bi *
I'm aromantic, but I have always lled myself "queer" or "gay. Anybody n still intify as Gay-Bi-Pan-Straight for any personal reason to do so.
I've loosely intified as Gay and Bi (when I was Male) or Straight (when intifyg as Female).
You n be an oriented aroace, like for platonic attractn or else, but I'm not sure fs wh 'gay' when 's not about romance or sex. I mean, no one n or will stop you, but "gay" is nfg and accurate. I ll myself gay, but more as a kd of umbrella term, rryg the same (lack of) meang as queer.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE GAY
LGBTQIA+ is an abbreviatn for lbian, gay, bisexual, transgenr, queer or qutng, tersex, asexual, and more. The terms are ed to scribe a person’s sexual orientatn or genr inty. * can you call yourself gay if you re bi *
It's more of a word I say when makg jok about our 'gay agenda', or about 'the gays' and our plans for world domatn, or about the fact that my wateroker broke beg 'homophobic'. 'The gays, ' as a reclaimed term, imo clus anyone who isn't cishet. If someone asks me what my orientatn is, I don't say 'gay', bee that would be lyg.
(Though if people assume I'm gay bee I imply I'm queer, and I don't feel like the tails are any of their bs that particular moment, then I gus I'll have them thk I'm gay. If you're not attracted to your own genr sexually, romantilly, or platonilly then I would say don't make all that much sense to ll yourself gay.
Many young men intify as mostly straight — a sexual orientatn that is not que straight but also, they say, ls gay than bisexualy * can you call yourself gay if you re bi *
That beg said, gay has often been ed to refer to all non-cishets so 's not like there wouldn't be a precent for llg yourself that. In olr tim 'gay' had a meang siar to what nowadays is 'queer'. So now better to leave a word 'gay' to homosexuals/homoromantics and e a 'queer' stead.
Any particular reason you "feel right" wh the term gay? Like, "of urse i like taylor swift, i'm gay! " most of my iends are the lgbt muny, and they all e "gay" to refer to themselv, so i gus never occurred to me that i *uldn't* e the term.
