"Hirsch's talk was the first of three talks on Thursday that specifilly addrsed sexualy and/or homosexualy. Instead, what followed was a discsn on the "The Church's Gay Dilemma" between Matthew V and Julie Rodgers.
V is the thor of God and the Gay Christian and founr of the Reformatn Project, which seeks to tra Christians to support and affirm LGTBQ people. Rodgers is a gay, celibate Christian whose hirg to work the chapla's office at Wheaton College last year sparked ntroversy.

He then referenced Alan Chambers, the former print of the now-shuttered ex-gay mistry Exod Internatnal. Another 30% reported they were able to live chastely and had "disintified" themselv om homosexual orientatn.
Unfortunately, this view that homosexualy is an immutable tra was aga prented the next Q talk on sexualy – a discsn between ethicist David Ghee and Pastor Dan Kimball on whether the church's historic teachg on sexualy is reliable. But, Ghee asserted that Christians have been "wrong on (the gay issue) as we have been wrong on some issu the past.
