The 27th San Francis Internatnal Lbian and Gay Film Ftival (SFILGFF), June 12-29, began on a note of 1960s-era glamour wh Charl Bch’s wicked Hollywood satire, “Die Mommie Die, ” and end wh the punk-rock gnge of Alex Steyermark’s melodramatic “Prey for Rock & Roll. The documentary prize went to Nancy Kat and Bent Sger’s “Brother Outsir: The Life of Bayard Rt, ” a ser work limng the life of a man who fought social battl on two onts, as a civil rights lear and as an openly gay man, long before a gay liberatn movement existed.
