At Gay Flag Football League is a 501(3c) non prof anizatn that was tablished 2018 to create a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ muny to play Amerin Flag Football. The rt at the Stonewall Inn (above) lnched a new era gay rights activism. The uprisgs igned a new atmosphere of ant gay liberatn.
A new generatn of activist anizatns emerged, cludg the Gay Liberatn Front and the Gay Activist Alliance. Like the homophile movement, the new anizatns sought to end discrimatn agast gays and lbians. Unlike the homophile anizatns, however, the advot for “gay liberatn” embraced much more aggrsive tactics throughout the 1970s.
