Held every year the month of June, the LGBT Pri Para and Ftival begs the heart of the Gayborhood at 13th and Loct startg at 11 am and proceeds through Center Cy and Philalphia’s historic district. The para ends at The Great Plaza at Penn's Landg where the ftival begs.

Philalphia's Pri para will celebrate s 30th anniversary this weekend, honorg the spontaneo march that unfold 1988 Center Cy and eventually grew to the annual para that celebrat the cy's LGBT well before 1988, there was another — and perhaps, lser-known — Pri march was 1972, three years after police had raid the Stonewall Inn New York Cy, sparkg rts, days of protts and ultimately the gay-rights movement.

Philalphia’s first Gay Pri Para assembled at Rtenhoe Square on June 11, 1972, wh rog speech by muny lears Barbara Gtgs and Jerry Curtis. The Philalphia Lbian and Gay Pri para was revived June 18 1989 to honor the twentieth anniversary of Stonewall.
SCENE AT PHILLY GAY PRI SUNDAY JUNE 10, 2018
Organized by the Lbian and Gay Task Force, the crowd of about 1, 000 began at 10th and Spce Streets and proceed wt to end a rally at JFK Plaza.
Later that year, enuraged by the succs of the event, muny members formed Lbian and Gay Pri of the Delaware Valley. In 1990, they’d produce the first Outft the Gayborhood to celebrate Natnal Comg Out Day.
