In the early 1960s, was illegal to be gay. On November 27th, 1978, Harvey Milk, a gay polician, was shot and killed San Francis.

In June of 1981, they performed at the Kennedy Center, spirg a group of dividuals right here DC to form their own gay men’s chos.
