The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illois, formerly the Chigo Area Gay and Lbian Chamber of Commerce, was tablished 1995 to tablish a small bs associatn that specifilly served the needs of the LGBTQ+ bs muny. Saw a need for a lol chamber of merce dited to gay and lbian owned bs. Joed by three other bs owners, they lnched the Chigo Area Gay & Lbian Chamber of Commerce.

The members are lbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenr (LGBT) bs owners, as well as gay-supportive bs. Sce gay and lbian tourism brgs an timated $300 ln a year to Chigo, ’s no surprise that the cy has disvered the viabily of supportg the LGBT muny.
