So we did at the Unn Square Theatre where the pat was kd of g off the walls. But this time we asked, "When was the last time show bs people red?" And I was dog <i>Behd the Canlabra</i>, so we started talkg about when we were kids and you'd see lights and drsg and people show bs really wanted to put on a show. So we were like, "Let's be big and be broad and have more fun wh . People are givg money, let's celebrate !" So we signed this set that looks like <i>The Gong Show</i>, really blown out wh lights. But Rob's a showman. Have you ever seen his live shows? They're huge. He pulls out all the stops, and 's a big, big theatre extravaganza. This is why we're eaked out, bee we're beg bombard all the time. It's not healthy. Thk of gettg through the airport. You wake up and you have a flight and you're so strsed out. You have to make sure you've got everythg and get out the door, get to the airport, go through secury, you get to the gate, you've ma on time. That is a whole day of strs. More strs than you've probably had a month. And then you get there and CNN is jt bombardg you wh bad news. It's sick. It's really sick. I was Seattle the other day and there were rtoons on at the gate, and I was like, "They have right. The people are relaxg, they're watchg a talkg owl. This is the way should be."</p><p data-no-id="18" class="css-aeyldl et3p2gv0"><strong>ESQ:</strong> But we'll s and watch the Boston bombers get chased for days on CNN. </p><p data-no-id="20" class="css-aeyldl et3p2gv0"><strong>TP:</strong> I know, and I'm a slave to , too. It's my job to be aware of the world, so how n I not? But don't you feel like you get overload to the pot where you jt n't crack open the paper? And there are certa thgs I do feel that I won't say bee 's about her or my kids or whatever. Bee even though they're ol and savvy, you n still end up labelg people wh that stuff. But sometim when you're on stage and you're jt riffg you say somethg that you didn't even nscly thk about. It jt kd of me out. I'm not sayg 's not te. It might be even more te. But then you're like, "Well that worked bee I lled her a eak." And later you thk, "Well that lgh was really great. I've got dghters, so I'm kd of a safe area where I live, and whatever I talk about on stage will be stuff that they would be ol hearg. But if your'e talkg about smokg weed and those kds of thgs, I hear this ltle censor my head sayg, "Be reful." Bee they're watchg now. They're on YouTube, and they're tryg to piece together what I do. "This guy go off and he's wh all the eighteen year olds at the Lgh Factory on a Saturday night." It's fun. But I went back to a party wh iends one night and this guy Chris, jt this funny Irish kid who I ed to have a blast riffg wh before I was a edian, was jt nng circl around me. I didn't have .
