Executive producer Kenh Johnson said at the time that he changed the name om “Bce” to “David” bee he disliked ic books’ tenncy to give characters allerative nam like Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lana Lang, etc. But he also add that he had a distct prejudice agast the name Bce.
