In March of 2009, Patricia Mceri was fired om One Life to Live over a dispute wh the producers over a scene which her character — a rosary-prayg Catholic — would give full-throated endorsement to the gay liftyle. (Note: an earlier post of this paragraph ed the term “gay marriage” stead of “gay liftyle” but when I went back and read the terview I realized the word marriage wasn’t actually ed.
