Four were among the first natns to legalise gay marriage (Fland took a ltle longer, fally jog the club 2017), and Iceland beme the first untry to have an openly gay head of ernment (Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, 2009).

Swedish melodrama The Wgs (1916), more than half of which has been sadly lost, is one of the first films to feature a gay storyle.

Daddy and the Mcle Amy (1991)The erotic gay drawgs of Too Laaksonen, better known as Tom of Fland, are one of the Sndavian pensula’s most famo queer exports, and this documentary, the only film to feature the man himself, is a handy entry to his work and reer. Lola und Bilidikid (Lola and Billy The Kid), 1999: Wrer/Director Kutlug Ataman had hoped to film this story of a young man tryg to rencile his homosexualy wh Islam Turkey, the ma character's fay's homeland, but he uldn't shore up enough support.
