The prevalence of erectile difficulti (ED) and problems wh rapid ejaculatn (RE) were studied a nvenience sample of gay men (n = 1379) and an age-matched sample of heterosexual men (n = 1558). ED was reported more equently by gay men and RE more equently by heterosexual men.
The associatns were not found the gay sample. Age and SIS1 (hibn due to threat of performance failure) were strong predictors of ED both gay and heterosexual men.
SEXUAL PROBLEMS AFFECTG GAY MEN
Gay men sred higher on SIS1 whether or not they reported ED, nsistent wh greater ncerns about performance failure gay men.
