Well, I tried 20 years ago to wre a book about a ntemporary gay life, and I jt uldn't do , uldn't figure out how to wre the somehow, this time, maybe — maybe 's the society that's changed. It certaly shocks me to see so many people readg this book about a gay man travelg around the world, and they never talk about that.
