In June of 1969, a group of LGBTQ+ people New York Cy rted followg a police raid of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar loted on Christopher Street Greenwich Village. This seri of events was a turng pot for the LGBTQ+ muny and marks one of the most signifint events leadg to the morn gay rights movement.
