The terms are particularly eful for people who intify outsi of the genr bary as unlike terms like gay or lbian, they refer only to the prentatn of the person someone is attracted to and not the person themselv. For example, both heterosexual women and homosexual men n be referred to as androphilic or androsexual. Sexual orientatn refers to the endurg physil, romantic and/or emotnal attractn to members of the same and/or other genrs, cludg lbian, gay, bisexual and straight orientatns.

A person who transns om female to male and is attracted solely to men would typilly intify as a gay man.

LGBTQIA+ stands for lbian, gay, bisexual, transgenr, queer (or sometim qutng), tersex, asexual, and others. G (Gay): Gay is ually a term ed to refer to men/men-aligned dividuals who are only attracted to people of the same/siar genr.
