Our goals are to promote workg wh the existg gay and gay-iendly bs and profsnal muny, to promote bs opportuni for Chamber members, to promote Miami as a year-round, gay and gay-iendly tourist statn, to provi rourc for our members, and to provi outreach om our muny to other anizatns. Steve Adks is prently the Print of the Miami-Da Gay & Lbian Chamber of Commerce.

In 1999, Steve moved om his native San Diego, California to South Florida and immediately beme terted promotg Miami as a year-round, gay and gay-iendly tourist statn, when he owned and operated the Jefferson Hoe, a South Beach Boutique Bed & Breakfast Hotel. Adks serv on the Board of The Greater Miami Conventn & Visors Bure, the Natnal Gay & Lbian Chamber of Commerce South Regn Co-Chair, and on the Advisory Board for Miami Beach Pri. Adks received the 2009 Eddie McIntyre Communy Service Award om the Natnal Gay & Lbian Task Force; the 2010 Bardi In Award, received the Pa’Lante Award om the Gay8 Ftival, the Miami-Da Gay & Lbian Chamber of Commerce received Equaly Florida’s first “Equaly Means Bs” Award 2012 and the South Florida Bs Journal Bs of Pri Award 2020.
