I'm not even exaggeratg. That was the bt set that I have ever been on, and I thk ’s bee Kehlani is so good at her job and she do her projects wh her bt iends. All this love and iendship was gog to the vio. This was Kehlani’s directorial but, then on top of that, they me on as an artist. It is such a great story to tell, and I don't play the villa often. The whole upg project is based on my life, as always. It is really about me fdg the tth my life. We didn't really thk twice about . She had jt e out [as lbian] and she was redog all of her featur [to rporate “she/her” pronouns]. What you saw was jt beg pletely natural and also puttg on a great performance. Our nnectn as iends was there and we were jt beg ourselv.</p><p><strong>How is this moment your early reer mic a pivotal event for you?</strong></p><p>This moment is really pivotal for me not only as a person, but as a fan, and as an artist. I'm jt so grateful that I feel so rpected by my peers — like, all my other R&B girls and iends want to get on the next album. They want to direct mic vios. This is the part of my mil journey that I've been wag for. I don't re how famo I am, I don't re how many people listen to my mic.
