After attendg a San Francis Gay Men’s Chos ncert the sprg of 1980, Portland native Mark Richards asked iends Mark Jon and Gary Coleman if they thought Portland would support a siar Chos. Through our outreach efforts, dience members have learned about overg homophobia; ma life-changg cisns to e out; received solace tim of hardship & loss; addrsed issu relatg to HIV/AIDS; been able to put a face to the LGBTQ+/Queer muny that we are; raised funds for muny ; and have had their hearts touched & their mds changed through the power of song. As an LGBT chos, we strive to celebrate and affirm the liv of gays, lbians, bisexuals and transgenr dividuals.
